We Drive Innovation
grow your business with us
Since Expivotal’s establishment, we have always been proud of our niche in renovating people and culture with research-informed strategies. We have been working with some of the most prestigious companies, educational institutions, and government departments across the globe.
We offer clients all-around people and cultural support through all phases of their own continual development.
We believe in not just providing a service to our clients but also forming a relationship based on understanding our client’s needs and then developing solutions based on those needs.
Case 1 - Team Building Training
Client Background
A Hong Kong-based bank with branches in the US and across Asia, providing full financial and commercial service to corporate and individual clients.
Client Challenges
During the pandemic, multiple departments established new working practices including working remotely, hybrid working, flexitime employment for their employees. Such changes disrupted the employees’ performance, team productivity, and morale. When employees returned to the office at normal times, many found it difficult to maintain their performance, and communicate well with their counterparts. Senior management was aware of the situation and approached Expivotal for a consultation.
Our Solution
A half-day training is designed specifically for team building purposes. Every individual from the same department joined the training and some even met each other for the first time since the pandemic died down. In the training, we deployed psychometric assessments for team members to learn their roles in a team, facilitated a panel discussion in creating a mission statement for the department, and strengthened the bond among members in an interactive team-building exercise.
Case 2 - Mental Health Training Consultation
Client Background
A multinational conglomerate which focuses on delivering healthcare services and products to global clients.
Client Challenges
The senior management in the Hong Kong office decided to renovate their employee training and development strategies with more focus on individual holistic health, which involves not only physical health but also mental, social, and spiritual health. They are looking for a comprehensive and structured training framework for the next 12 months, with different themes and events aimed to enhance employee engagement and wellbeing.
Our Solution
In a 3-month consultation project, we had meetings with officers and managers from the People and Culture Department. From understanding the companies’ competency model, analysing training needs, to assessing employees’ wellbeing with valid psychometric tools, we have written a full consultancy report to include our investigation and advice for their mental health and wellbeing strategy in the following year.
Case 3 - Strategic Transformation in Employee Learning
Client Background
A group of human resources professionals from diverse functions and industries. Most of them are decision-makers in organisational learning strategies from different companies.
Client Challenges
HR professionals have come together and found a common struggle in promoting a learning culture in the working environment. Particularly, the low participation rate and lack of learning satisfaction are the major obstacles. They are looking for new angles to enhance their learning strategies, and more importantly, to formulate an engaging learning culture for talent retention.
Our Solution
A series of webinars and workshops have been delivered to the group of HR professionals. We focused on the digital transformation of learning and development, with topics around micro-learning. Apart from sharing successful cases of digital transformation, clients learned about the ‘how’ of micro-learning, meaning the nature and mechanism of human learning. From there, clients returned to their offices and formulated innovative learning and development strategies.
