Our client is a prominent multinational insurance and financial services company dedicated to delivering insurance products and services to individuals and businesses worldwide. With their Hong Kong office as the focus, the senior management sought to revamp their employee training and development strategies, placing a stronger emphasis on individual holistic health. This encompassed physical, mental, social, and spiritual wellbeing.

Client Challenges

The senior management in the Hong Kong office faced multiple challenges, including the need to revamp their employee training and development strategies to prioritise holistic health. Additionally, they aimed to improve employee compensation and benefits to attract and retain top talent. They sought a comprehensive and structured wellbeing framework spanning 12 months that would not only enhance employee engagement and wellbeing but also address the need for competitive compensation and benefits packages.

Our Solution

In a 3-month consultation project, we collaborated with officers and managers from the People and Culture Team and Compensation and Benefits Team to address the multifaceted challenges faced by the organisation. We conducted a thorough analysis of the company’s wellbeing strategies, identified training needs, and assessed employees’ wellbeing using psychometric tools. Furthermore, we provided a comprehensive consultancy report that outlined our recommendations to enhance their employee compensation, benefits, and mental health and wellbeing strategies for the upcoming year.

During the subsequent one-year training delivery, we implemented a carefully curated programme encompassing four distinct themes: Plant the Seed, Initiate the Change, Nurture Growth, and Sustain Wellbeing. These themes not only fostered employee engagement and wellbeing but also incorporated components addressing employee growth and career development.
